Our final project!!

Everything has been finished! I'm overjoyed to be able to share that our film is now available for viewing. It's been a long journey, but I'm relieved to say that we've arrived at our goal. There have been many highlights and downsides throughout the film. I'd want to discuss and reflect on it now that we've finally completed it. 

Bonding, acting, and this experience have all been positive aspects of this process for me. Because we spent so much time together throughout the process, I was able to form stronger bonds with my creative team. Everyone seemed to get closer, and we were able to bond over shared interests and goals. Filming was fantastic for a variety of reasons, including the fact that everyone had the opportunity to participate. It was so cool seeing how each shot came out on camera! It also has made me feel more confident for the first AICE paper we will be doing next month. 


Finally, leaving things till the last minute and racing to finish them was my downfall. I was grateful that my group was understanding and supportive throughout those times. We all collaborated and completed tasks in a timely manner. The knowledge that you have a team kept me going throughout the project. We went over all of the finishing touches one last time, including music, transitions, and overall editing elements. It was hard to put everything together, but we knew it was time to call it a day. Everyone was so excited to see our completed hard work. Everything is in order, and we are ready to present our project to the world. I am truly so proud of my group and me for this project and our work. I can't wait for you to see the end result and provide feedback.

Our reviewed film!

After a month of shooting, re-filming, and editing, the project is almost complete. We're relieved and grateful that the project is almost finished. For us, the entire process of making the film was pleasant. Although some areas, such as filming, proved to be more difficulty. Our schedule gave us the most trouble because everyone was so busy. We fixed it in the end and it worked perfectly. The initial planning, storyboarding, and filming were, in our opinion, the most enjoyable aspects of the project. It gave us a lot of creative liberties and allowed for fun. Here, everyone was free to express their ideas, and we all knew what to do. The editing, on the other hand, was not as straightforward. Unfortunately, the video could only fully be edited and assembled by one of our team members. The rest of us couldn't help as much but observe and tried our best with what our groupmate was doing. Genre research: Thriller

Thriller is a genre that focuses on catching the audience's attention by inflicting suspense or anticipation. A commonly confused with the genre horror, the thriller genre is drastically different. While Horror focuses on scaring the audience and prioritizes the main confrontation as the climax thriller does otherwise. In the Thriller Genre, its main goal is to leave tension and leave the audience on edge. There are many camera angles used in the thriller genre. For example, the most common filming angles are closeups or extreme closeups, low and high angle shots, canted angle shots, wide shots, and more. What is en scene is used can drastically change a film. In thrillers typically low-level lighting, props, and little to no makeup are essential. This is to make the film more believable for the audience. To pair with believability and to add emotion when editing thriller films pacing is key. Font: We will be using either a comic book style font such as MV Boli or Sitka Test which allows for a clean look example:  Contrast: Color- White or black Size- sizing depends on the scene and what fits Purpose- what is important for the audience to read? The different titles give the audience the idea of who did what and the production they are able to receive during the film Working title: "Unforgettable" - and will be in all caps using our designated font:  SOMETHING ALONG THESE LINES How will the titles (the words) enter and leave the screen? The titles will enter the screen and placed on different objects on the screen and disappear accordingly  How long will each title be on the screen before it disappears? Each title will be on the screen for a maximum of 6 seconds while the director's name will be presented longer.
