Our script

 

Scene 1:

-*Mia and Lucia meet at the Park*

-Lucia: Hey girl, how are you!?

-Mia: I'm good! I can't believe we haven't hung out in so long!

-Lucia: I'm so excited! Let's stretch at the benches before we work out, so we don't cramp up later. 

-Mia: Sounds like a plan.

Scene 2:

-*Mia and Lucia are walking toward the benches*

-They show each other stuff on their phone.

-Diegetic sound: Their footsteps and background chatter/noise from strangers.

-Lighting: Bright and sunny.

Scene 3:

-*Lucia and Mia stretching at the benches*

Lucia: I'm glad you were able to come on such short notice, I didn't think you'd make it.

Mia: I couldn't leave you hanging and I wanted to catch up with you!

Lucia: How's the new school? I was worried it would be a weird adjustment for you.

Mia: Yeah, it kind of was and I feel more stressed these days because of it. I wanted to blow off some steam and what better way than exercises to sweat all the bad vibes out?

Lucia: Haha yeah I get that! Let's start before too many people come and we can't walk and jog 

Scene 4:

-*Mia and Lucia begin jogging toward the path in the park*

-Non-diegetic sound: Upbeat music.

-Lighting bright and sunny. 

Scene 5:

-*Willow (stalker) appears at the park in the background*

-Willow walks around and observes Mia and Lucia from afar.

-Diegetic sound: Footsteps

-Non-diegetic sound: Ominous music

Lighting: Sunshine with a slight shade

Scene 6:

-*Lucia and Mia start walking toward the swing sets*

-Mia: Let's relax for a bit before we go to your house.

-Lucia: Sounds good.

Diegetic sound: Swingset creaking and mulch crunching from their shoes.

Lighting: Sunshine with a slight shade

Scene 7:

-*Camera switches to Willow eavesdropping in the background to figure out what they're talking about*

-*Lucia and Mia make plans to walk home and begin getting up to leave*

Diegetic sound: Dialogue between Mia and Lucia

Non-Diegetic sound: Ominous music that plays over Willow eavesdropping

Lighting: Sunshine with a slight shade

Scene 8:

-*Mia and Lucia walk out of the park and start walking towards Lucia's house*

-Lucia: My house isn't too far away, so we'll be there in no time!

-Mia: Thank goodness, I feel like my legs would've given out on me if it was too far. 

-Lucia: How often do you exercise these days? I can't say that I've been maintaining a consistent routine because of school.

-Mia: It's been hard to stay consistent with the new school but I'm getting there. 

Diegetic Sound: Footsteps, breathing, and character dialogue 

Lighting: Sunshine with a slight shade

Scene 9:

-*Camera cuts to Willow following them from afar*

-Willow checks their phone and Lucia's picture pops up.

-Willow: She's the one.

Diegetic sound: Footsteps

Non-Diegetic Sound: Ominous Music 

Lighting: Sunshine with a slight shade

Scene 10: 

-*Lucia and Mia are walking toward the side entrance of her house to go to the backyard* 

-*Willow is behind the side entrance waiting for them to come in*

-Lucia: Nobody is home but I forgot my keys so let's go through the side.

-Mia: I hear something moving behind the gate. Are you sure nobody is here?

-Lucia: Yeah girl, trust me that's probably my chicken. Look at this picture I took of her the other day.

-*Lucia shows Mia the picture and they both look down simultaneously as Lucia opens the gate*

-*Willow appears behind the gate which causes Lucia to drop the phone*

Diegetic Sound: Movement behind the gate and the dialogue between characters

Non-Diegetic Sound: Ominous music when Willow appears

Scene 11:

-*The phone drop transitions into ominous music and the film name is displayed*

Our reviewed film!

After a month of shooting, re-filming, and editing, the project is almost complete. We're relieved and grateful that the project is almost finished. For us, the entire process of making the film was pleasant. Although some areas, such as filming, proved to be more difficulty. Our schedule gave us the most trouble because everyone was so busy. We fixed it in the end and it worked perfectly. The initial planning, storyboarding, and filming were, in our opinion, the most enjoyable aspects of the project. It gave us a lot of creative liberties and allowed for fun. Here, everyone was free to express their ideas, and we all knew what to do. The editing, on the other hand, was not as straightforward. Unfortunately, the video could only fully be edited and assembled by one of our team members. The rest of us couldn't help as much but observe and tried our best with what our groupmate was doing. Genre research: Thriller

Thriller is a genre that focuses on catching the audience's attention by inflicting suspense or anticipation. A commonly confused with the genre horror, the thriller genre is drastically different. While Horror focuses on scaring the audience and prioritizes the main confrontation as the climax thriller does otherwise. In the Thriller Genre, its main goal is to leave tension and leave the audience on edge. There are many camera angles used in the thriller genre. For example, the most common filming angles are closeups or extreme closeups, low and high angle shots, canted angle shots, wide shots, and more. What is en scene is used can drastically change a film. In thrillers typically low-level lighting, props, and little to no makeup are essential. This is to make the film more believable for the audience. To pair with believability and to add emotion when editing thriller films pacing is key. Title design (in detail)

Font: We will be using either a comic book style font such as MV Boli or Sitka Test which allows for a clean look example:  Contrast: Color- White or black Size- sizing depends on the scene and what fits Purpose- what is important for the audience to read? The different titles give the audience the idea of who did what and the production they are able to receive during the film Working title: "Unforgettable" - and will be in all caps using our designated font:  SOMETHING ALONG THESE LINES How will the titles (the words) enter and leave the screen? The titles will enter the screen and placed on different objects on the screen and disappear accordingly  How long will each title be on the screen before it disappears? Each title will be on the screen for a maximum of 6 seconds while the director's name will be presented longer.
