Production has been completed and I realized I never spoke on behalf of our soundtrack for our opening sequence.  My other group members may have talked about it ealrier but it slipped my mind while editing.  Given our thriller/scary theme, it would be most appropriate to find suspenseful and eerie soundtracks to accompany our songs. I decided to research more of that feeling when looking for music. The entire premise revolves around two girls enjoying a fun reunion with an unexpected audience. The majority of the film will be cheery, but when the stalker appears, the eerie and disturbing soundtrack is employed. Because there will be a lot of dialogue throughout the movie, the background music will be lowered, but it will be heard.  Since we have dialogue during the film, it was best we had songs without lyrics.  Because many of these soundtracks are copyrighted, it's crucial to  read the descriptions before using them.  Each group member choice different s...

who doesn't like a little improv?

The first day of filming was a little more complicated than my group and I anticipated by we managed very well. We had planned to meet up with one of our group members closer to Margate since she was the closest to the fair and we would film the opening scenes. I was picked up by Jacob (another classmate and group member) around 4pm since he's the only one of us with the car. There was still a lot of daylight which was perfect for our first few scenes. We drove to a Starbucks since it was on the way and recorded the scenes getting into the car and the ride there. Once at the fair, or should I say parking lot, Jacob had a great idea to provide some improved scenes. They wouldn't take anyway anything from the ones listed in our storyboard so I thought it was also a cool idea. He had suggested I and the other actor look off into the Ferris wheel across the street at the fair with him while being filmed of course.  Location: We are planning to shoot the majority of the film in a woodsy and dark setting. Here we will have our establishing shot, and characters introduced. Allowing for our storyline to be understood by the audience and flow better. Later, the scenes will be shot in our main character's room. Here it will help wrap up the story and give the audience an ending they can understand.  Participants:  Three members of our group are going to be included in the film. Kai is going to be our director and filming. Willow is going to play the main character of the stalker. While Lucy will play the secondary character of the girl being stalked. Our last remaining member will focusing on needed background characters and editing.
