second times the charm

The project idea of a music video seems easy enough when presented but finding the right group members can make or break your team. Luckily I already have a group from our last project. Since we worked so well last time we have decided to pair up again. And I am very excited to be working with them all.  For the music video, I along with Jacob Pineiro, Lucia Rodriguez, and Kia Lobann have decided to pull our heads together and work together once more. We've got to get to know each other and become great friends. We bond over a number of things and continue to learn about each other daily. Lucia, Jacob, and I are all in the school's marching band so we talk about that. We are all new to the media studies side of film you can say and want to do our best to pass the class and AICE exams. After knowing the basic level of what this class is and what to expect, I think it is making us more excited for our second project.

Our plan was to divide and conquer like we did on our last project, with everyone taking a significant role in the music video process. Kia will be the lead director in charge of filming shots that the actors will provide. Lucia and I once again will be the actors. I can only speak for myself at this moment but I feel with this being my second time being an actor, I feel more comfortable being shot for a great final product. To add effects or sound will be Jacob the editor. Pertaining to the other assignments due along with this project, like the storyboard, we will be assigned due to strengths.

The group and I have decided to use the song "Good Days" by Sza for our music video. We chose it out of a list of around 7. The reason we chose it wasn't just because of SZA's amazing voice but because we can create a cool storyline. Good Days is a song where you can interpret however and we are going to bring that to life.
