  Today was the last day for working on our commercial. It is finally complete and I couldn't be happier. I really enjoyed our first project and working with a group. I got to be one of the actors for the ad and it was an unexpected experience. I use the word unexpected because I wasn't too sure if the position was for me but it worked out in the end. The project itself allowed for different opportunities while filming and increased my knowledge of production. It also allowed for communication skills since we got to collaborate with the other students. Doing this project and being able to see other parts of the production process really opened my eyes to different jobs. I will be taking those skills into consideration for future projects. I'm glad we got this as our first Cambridge project and can't wait for the next one.

Our reviewed film!

After a month of shooting, re-filming, and editing, the project is almost complete. We're relieved and grateful that the project is almost finished. For us, the entire process of making the film was pleasant. Although some areas, such as filming, proved to be more difficulty. Our schedule gave us the most trouble because everyone was so busy. We fixed it in the end and it worked perfectly. The initial planning, storyboarding, and filming were, in our opinion, the most enjoyable aspects of the project. It gave us a lot of creative liberties and allowed for fun. Here, everyone was free to express their ideas, and we all knew what to do. The editing, on the other hand, was not as straightforward. Unfortunately, the video could only fully be edited and assembled by one of our team members. The rest of us couldn't help as much but observe and tried our best with what our groupmate was doing. Genre research: Thriller

Thriller is a genre that focuses on catching the audience's attention by inflicting suspense or anticipation. A commonly confused with the genre horror, the thriller genre is drastically different. While Horror focuses on scaring the audience and prioritizes the main confrontation as the climax thriller does otherwise. In the Thriller Genre, its main goal is to leave tension and leave the audience on edge. There are many camera angles used in the thriller genre. For example, the most common filming angles are closeups or extreme closeups, low and high angle shots, canted angle shots, wide shots, and more. What is en scene is used can drastically change a film. In thrillers typically low-level lighting, props, and little to no makeup are essential. This is to make the film more believable for the audience. To pair with believability and to add emotion when editing thriller films pacing is key. Font: We will be using either a comic book style font such as MV Boli or Sitka Test which allows for a clean look example:  Contrast: Color- White or black Size- sizing depends on the scene and what fits Purpose- what is important for the audience to read? The different titles give the audience the idea of who did what and the production they are able to receive during the film Working title: "Unforgettable" - and will be in all caps using our designated font:  SOMETHING ALONG THESE LINES How will the titles (the words) enter and leave the screen? The titles will enter the screen and placed on different objects on the screen and disappear accordingly  How long will each title be on the screen before it disappears? Each title will be on the screen for a maximum of 6 seconds while the director's name will be presented longer.
